Deepholm where is the first clue

If you fly to the broken ship, you'll most likely land near the "southern" part, as at the base of that part is where the first part of the clues is and easiest to spot, "unexploded Artillery Shell" It will be "glowing" as the other parts are. From there, turn around to your left slowly. You will notice flames all around you, stop turning as you spot the other half of the ship.

More or less in a similar spot, you should see the "glowing" item marked "Slain Cannoneer" which is the second clue. After getting that one, fly up to the top of the ship and get into the small room where you'll see the slain captain and a pick up quest, Captain's log. Pick them both up and your done!

The front is the smaller piece. The captains cabin does NOT have a ramp to it from the ground. The opening is easy to spot, just face that half of the ship from where it broke in 2, and see the big opening on the 2nd story; just fly right inside. Can't miss it. It's one room, clue is inside on the left.

Wow, doh. Comment by digitalutopia1 Most likely a reference, if in title only, to the classic children's story "Watership Down" by Richard Adams. Clue 1 is in the back half. If you're near the first two clues, the back half is to the SSE. Its as if the ship was pulled in half, and the two parts put down still aligned, with a big gap in the middle.

On top of the back half is a huge Horde symbol. The entrance to the captain's cabin where the clue is is through the center of that symbol. If you have coords, that door is at Comment by HazelNutty The new 'outline mode' for seeing quest objectives is less than helpful for this particular quest, especially with all the smoke around. The sparkles are very obvious on the clues and makes spotting them a lot easier!

Better off checking youtube. Go back to where you got the log look for the exclamation mark and click the dead captain beside the log BEFORE clicking the log. Some were spot on, even mentioning Cristalit's screenshot. You are so right!

I ignored the corpse when I picked up the log! Gunship Down. The clues point to an obvious conclusion. Too obvious perhaps. Interact with the log to pick up the quest Captain's Log. Right next to the log book is Captain Skullshatter , the first clue:. Face outward from the entry. Your next clue will be on the ground, diagonally to the left between the two ship halves. Find a Slain Cannoneer lying on the ground:.

From the Cannoneer, look again diagonally to the left as you face the halves of the ship, to the second half of the shattered ship. On the ground is an Unexploded Artillery Shell:. The name of the quest is a salute to the classic English story, Watership Down.
