Why does it beep in kill bill

Throughout the film she has 4 names. In chronological order the first event of the story is the wedding massacre. At this point she is Black Mamba. She is shot in the head by Bill. This is the death of Black Mamba. She wakes up four years later. This is the birth of The Bride.

Now The Brides sole purpose is to take up the sword and wreak havoc on those who wronged her. She kills O-Ren with the sword and Vernita with a knife. She becomes dependent on the sword. So much so that she underestimates Budd. Her plan is of course to attack Budd in his trailer with the sword. This immediately backfires when Budd shoots her with rock salt and disarms her.

What happens next is the most significant part of the film. Having her sword taken away from her she is now powerless. Budd nails her in a wooden coffin and buries her alive. This is the death of The Bride. It is during this burial that through remembering her training with Pai Mei she realizes she doesn't need to rely on the sword. Her power lies in her hands. She punches her way out of the coffin. This is the birth of Beatrix Kiddo. From here on her name will not be bleeped and she will not use the sword again.

Beatrix doesn't kill Budd, Elle Driver does. Beatrix snatches Elle's other eye out leaving her completely blind. It is questioned in the end credits whether Elle dies or not as she is left blind in Budd's trailer with a deadly Black Mamba snake. After this, only Bill is left. She tracks him down ready to kill him when suddenly she is killed.

Well symbolically of course. She is shocked at the sudden realization that her daughter is still alive. Her daughter shoots her with a toy gun. Beatrix falls to the ground dies and is woken up by B. Volume 1 was an action flick but it was awesome, plain and simple. I love the anime scene, and I'm a person that can't even stand anime. Tarantino is a genius.

Kill Bill 1 and 2 are comedies in my mind The group who did the anime scenes in Vol 1 are easily some of the best modern animation companies ever.

Production IG. Everything by them I've seen has impressed as much as Studio Ghibli animation, or as a singular example, Akira's animation. I definatly prefered vol. Go figure. Shame I signed that contract, because now I'm curious. I like both, but I think I like the second more.

If I could change it I would: Take out the beeping. They could have easily not ever said her name, and it would have been much better. Re edit the music when she pulls herself into the truck. It just cuts off so freakin fast Take out the monologue at the start of volume Crono5 Join Date: Member: Members.

I loved volume one. I couldn't stand volume two, save for the Chinese guy Pai Mai? Mai Pai? In the second film, as we delve more deeply into the personal dramas and backstories of the characters, her name is revealed as far as anyone can tell so that she becomes more of a sympathetic character.

Personally I would've just had the script avoid her name rather than beeping it out so conspicuously, but hey, I'm not a famous auteur film maker. The same reason why a bunch of sword-wielding Japanese thugs called themselves the "Crazy 88;" it sounded cool at the time.

Why not have some fun with it, like when they bleep it in the first one and she is talking to the mother she fights with, they could have had a garbage truck backing up or something. If they had used environmental audio to block it out it would have been much nicer I think. At first I thought it was a problem with my audio, and then I realized that it was the goddamn movie. Exactly, there were MUCH better ways they could have handled that.

Exactly, there were much better ways they could have handled that That's so constructive, was there a point or seasonal depression just setting in? Personally I thought it was to BE obvious about it.

This made me feel as if I were watching television and a swear got omitted from the broadcast. Multiple times in the film, Tarantino sets the camera in what would be the ceiling and we follow characters as they walk in between rooms.
