I really enjoyed the book. I like learning about Lily, and the way her feeling towards her mother change through her book, as well as her thoughts on T-ray and what he claims happened.

I like the way that she adapts to life, and gets through the racism that she was taught her whole life. Lily learns the opposite of what she was taught growing up. Secrets come alive, and things take a turning point.
